So many variations of our front entry have continuously evolved over the years. Until recently, our added on covered front porch began its transformation to an official grand entryway!
Each year we enjoy several months of snow, therefore the foot traffic brings in a lot of yuck. A specified home for coats and shoes was needed, otherwise said items would continue trickling into the dining and living areas. We’ve wanted to tackle this project for some time, and since there is snow on the weather forecast, it’s no time like the present!
We ordered a larger front door with side lights to really make a statement. The original one was still in great condition so we were able to sell it. Once the new door came we could finally get started on our favorite part…demo day!
Lincoln and Boone helped Johnny with the framing, insulation and Sheetrock this past weekend, while Hudson tackled the exterior caulking and paint prep! It’s already such a transformation! Check it out here!
